St. Lucia Jazz Festival, known as one of the best in the world, was originally created to entice visitors to the island during a low tourism period.The event has succeeded in drawing thousands of jazz fans each year for two weeks in early May.
St. Lucia Jazz, now revamped and part of the Soleil Summer Festival, it is now positioned as a festival for pure jazz lovers. It will be coupled with a variety of events around the island both free and paying.
The Festival will run this week from 6th – 13th May and will climax at Pigeon Island National Landmark with a Mother’s Day Special. The headliner concerts are scheduled for three exquisite resorts with a more intimate setting. These resorts are Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort, Royalton Saint Lucia Resort & Spa and the newly opened Harbor Club.
Some of the star studded headliners include five time Grammy Award Winner Lalah Hathaway, soul singer, songwriter and pianist Avery Sunshine, and Grammy nominated jazz vocalists Jazzmeia “Jazz” Horn.
Jazz lovers from around the world will gather in Saint Lucia to take pleasure in this unmissable stellar festival with famed jazz artists and musicians.
